On February 15 2021, a blast of arctic air swept through Texas over Valentine Day weekend. Temperatures plummeted and ice
and snow blanketed the entire state. The state’s electric grid operator lost control of the power supply, the worst power
outages were in Texas, leaving more than 4 million people without electricity, and more than 13 million, almost half of the
state's population, did not have access to clean, running water. The winter storm is unprecedented in scope. Regardless
the worst weather condition, it was one of the best days for taking snow background pictures that won't happen again soon.
